Workshop 1
CKM Syndrome Workshop: Connecting the Dots
Kody Shaw
Cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome is one of the latest hot topics in medicine, shifting the way we think about cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and diabetes. Rather than treating these conditions in isolation, we now recognise them as interconnected manifestations of the same underlying pathophysiology.
This practical, case-based workshop is designed for pharmacists with a basic understanding of managing cardiovascular, renal, and diabetic conditions. Together, we'll tackle CKM cases, explore the latest evidence, and discuss practical strategies you can apply to the patients you see every day.
Workshop 2
Keys to Building Your Team: A Team-Based Learning and Practical Workshop
Chris Taylor
Through this workshop, we invite you to explore how you
can think more about your unique value of input into patient care, and how to make this more visible.
Learn a practical five pillar team-based model to fortify your team culture. A proven model from the coaching world
that can be applied readily.
Lastly, explore how you can gain confidence in communication with your colleagues and patients under challenging conditions, including making space for reflection and self-kindness.
The workshop includes a short pre Q&A which we invite you to submit as a key input to the session preparation
